I agree with everything you have stated here.

Submissions to Poetry in Form have certainly declined since the beginning of the Partner Program and it is no longer gaining many followers. I still get a lot of participation in the prompts, which I am happy about, but I do worry that Poetry in Form is kind of dying as a publication. As an editor, I am happy to keep Poetry in Form up and running as a free resource for poets because I think it has grown into a wonderful collection of poetry written in form that speaks to today’s audience. However, I also believe that the writers shouldn’t have to choose between submitting to a publication and potentially earning money for their work.
