To the person afraid of water
we say:
“Just jump in, the water’s fine.”

To the person who is depressed
we say:
“Just go for a walk, you’ll be fine.”

To the person the anxious person
we say:
“Quit worrying, everything is fine.”

To the introverted person
we say:
“Just open up, you’ll be fine.”

But,

My fine is not your fine, your fine is not my fine is not her fine is not his fine is not their fine.

So, instead, be kind

Always.

Choose kind —

not fine.
