Thank you, Dewi! This poem took me a few weeks to write. I thought of the first four lines and then I had the idea to use them to start a pantoum. Getting it going wasn’t too difficult, but reaching an ending was very challenging! It honestly felt like I was just going to keep writing it forever and never give it an end. I would say that the pantoum is one of the most difficult forms to tackle, but it did feel gratifying to complete one.

The only advice I have is don’t give up! If a line/a word isn’t working, be flexible and change it, but don’t give up on the entire piece. Play around with the lines and have fun with them, too! If you finish your pantoum, please do consider submitting it to Poetry in Form, as well!
