You again, Muse?

You again, Muse?
I suppose I was
bound to see you again —
Shockingly, I notice,
I recognize, but feel nothing
more than the mid-autumn chill
seeping into my skin and bones.
My heart pounds not,
and the only song
I desire to sing is
one like this —
of lazy nothings.
